Road repaired & access restored in a rural village named Kanduregoda, located near Ginigathhena-Ella Uda road, all thanks to your kind donations & the unity & hard work of the villages!

This 25 year old hilly concrete road paves way to:

The Dehigasthanna and Ambathalawa villages

The Aberdeen Falls - Scenic waterfall visited by many local and foreign tourist often through this road. https://g.co/kgs/CYWFQMp

The entry road to the Sri Abhayawardhanarama temple

The homes of about 130 low income families in the area

Unfortunately, about a 1.5Km stretch of this road is in bad conditions with potholes due to which the 1919 ambulance service has refused service to this area. Irrespective of this condition the village children do well in their education. Though the villages have informed & requested several sectors to repair this road, none of them have responded - until now.

We heard saw their need and value of this project: Not only does it uplift the lives of the villages, but also benefits the tourism industry by making Aberdeen Falls more accessible! But this could not have been possible without the contributions of our monthly donors & their generous contributions. You've uplifted and entire community.
