Sometimes its a little thing in life that makes a difference.Raise Sri Lanka was Formed to reach families and children with the initial help they need to uplift their lifestyles to achieve beyond their present limitations.And today,one year after inception I am proud to have our volunteer base expanded across all provinces in Sri Lanka. with 100s of recurring donations and contributions exceeding thousands of dollars.The experience and satisfaction I gain by being part of Raise Sri Lanka are priceless.Its amazing to wake up every day knowing someone out there,a total stranger to me will have the best day of their life,just coz their lives are about to change with new hope,dreams,and purpose.I am indeed blessed.

" As a Volunteer on Raise Sri Lanka Team,I get the opportunity to touch the lives of many underprivileged.Most of the people we help earn than dollar250 per month and are below the poverty line.Standard three meals per day are a luxury for most of these families.Education is a luxury, medical needs are the same.But through the charity, we have been able to give them another opportunity to feel equal.I feel blessed to be part of a team that strives to be part of the change that we all want to see.

I had the opportunity to bring positive change to the lives of families in need when I volunteered at Raise Sri lank. These adults had experienced poverty for a very long time.And since birth,the children have been equally suffering due to lack of resources in their household.with the charity Organization,our volunteers just really wanted to make a difference..So we all do our part to help wherever we can during our free time.we could not be more satisfied and confident knowing that our efforts positively impact people's lives in Sri Lanka

I have been a Raise SL volunteer for the past year and this work has opened a new experience that is extremely rewarding.I have met some of the most dedicated people and seen families come together at times when it is most needed because of the help rendered.I have been part of many giving programs in the past,but Raise Sri Lanka is the most transparent,Effective,and efficient nonprofits volunteer organization I have ever had the pleasure of working with

I have personally witnesses how impactful raise Sri Lanka initiatives are.Imagine not begin able to buy essentials for your own child,imagine not being able to put food on the table for your table-little things matter to them people are always in tears of happiness and they feel blessed when we go and talk to them.being part of raise Sri Lanka has allowed me to be a part of something larger than life

My favorite part  of the volunteer experience is getting to meeting many people while visiting for verification and patiently listening to their stories.Sometimes I have to travel miles through roads to meet these people who need help.I spend most of my free time trying to find the most deserving families and children of all the requests we receive.its challenging,but at the end of the day,when I look back at everything have had to endure,it is very small in front of the impact I have manged to ale by being part of this amazing charity Raise Sri Lanka

Initially,I joined as a volunteer because I was invited,but as time passsed,I continued beging part of Raise Sri Lanka because I saw how our efforts brought hope to those who recived our support. We may be doing small things,but we do bring hope of better tomorow one family at a time
