We are delighted to share the completion of another beautiful milestone in our journey of empowering Sri Lanka’s children — “Empowering Education Through Music” — carried out together with the Colombo Diamond Ladies Circle 1 and the compassionate volunteers of the Hard Truths Society. 🎶✨

In the quiet village of Kalugalla, within the Polpithigama educational division, stands Kalugalla Vidyalaya — a school filled with heart, spirit, and extraordinary talent. Over 306 students study here, and among them are many young musicians with dreams as bright as their smiles. But for years, their talent remained incomplete — because the school had almost no proper musical instruments.

For special events and competitions, children often had to borrow instruments from neighboring schools. Their creativity was limited not by passion, but by opportunity.

With the generous support of the Colombo Diamond Ladies Circle 1, our monthly donors, and the incredible team from the Hard Truths Society led by Harshana Lakmal, we delivered a full set of musical instruments to the school — putting the gift of rhythm, melody, and possibility into the hands of these young dreamers. 🎵💫
