The 7th of March 2022 was a special day for Subenthirana , wife and daughter. Their house previously made of sticks and improper roofing was destroyed in a storm and they were homeless. For all these months they were living with people known to them. With the labor fully sponsored by Sri Lanka Police division vavniya, we were able to complete safe home for them.

Dayani (mother) is forever grateful for helping their family. they know that this is a luxury they could have never seen through without your involvement. We had to find funding for this initiative through multiple sources. And we are thankful for the patience of the contributors over the months with unexpected delays and material shortages etc. and yet staying with us and supporting us along the way.

Contributing fundraisers and monthly donations (list of contributors attached)

1. Sajith's birthday fundraiser - USD 1,143.00

2. Monthly member donations (OCT 2021) - USD 480.00

3. Devni's birthday fundraiser - USD 76.00

4. Janani's birthday fundraiser - USD 258.00

This project wouldn't have been possible without the passionate volunteer in the northern province Nivethan Yogarasa who helped coordinate this initiative over the past several months from vavniya for successful completion. Thanks to our internal volunteer Sameetha for all her efforts internally. With the blessings and help from all of you, we could finally give a home to Subenthirana. ❤ Thank you!
