Online educational needs - Hansanie’s birthday fundraiser

Project update 

Help child in Thissamaharama - the father of this family called us saying last week that the children has not been having education for months now and if we can help with a device that helps them continue their education. The family does not have a phone and the neighbor has been our point of contact since we visited them for verification.. the happiness and the smilies in the faces of these children are unmistakable.

The the main reason and objective for initiating this fundraiser has been the exact reason. It’s true that a lot has been going on due to the pandemic but these children should

Continue with their education. And the response for the fundraiser has been favorable where we managed to collect close to US$1000. We also had generous donors who agreed to pick each of the listed items and donate and this child is from such (contributors and donation amounts will be attached at the end of the fundraiser)

The 5 other potential families (3 children each) have been identified to be helped as part of the fundraiser, and we have place orders for the devices. Stay with us for more updates.
