Donate school book list -Ridee Ella

“The little kids who received gift packs were holding back big happy tears.”.- Ms. Kumari (English teacher) said.

Through our friend, Dhananjaya, we got to know that Ridee ella Vidyalaya, Delwala students of all grades have been in need of essential supplies for some time now. When Ms. Kumari spoke with us last month, we had limited donations (US$ 120, Approx Rs. 20,000). When we told her that was all we can donate at the moment, she was thrilled and thankful. Their school had so many priorities and hardships and even with that amount of money, there was so much they could do for the children including buying basic necessities like books, stationery and even sanitary napkins..

The teachers collaboratively identified 16 well deserving children (children who has lost both their parents) to gift these supplies and provided us with estimates and formal letters to proceed with the request. You can see that the entire school got together for this event and it shows how special this gesture was for them.

They themselves sent us photos and videos to share with you all across the world to say a big thank you!
