This month at Raise Sri Lanka was a powerful reminder of how compassion can change lives — and it happened because of you.
1. In the scenic hills of Kegalle, students at Ganthuna Kadurata Maha Vidyalaya stepped into a brighter future. Their old science lab—once quiet and under-equipped—now holds new microscopes, tools, and materials that bring lessons to life.
For many of these children, this was their first time seeing the microscopic world come alive, sparking dreams of becoming scientists, doctors, and innovators.

2. Meanwhile, in Dolamite Watta, Digana, a grandmother named Bhisomanike lived every day with a fear most of us will never know. With no sanitary facility, she and her family walked to a neighbor’s bathroom—rain or shine, day or night—often facing discomfort and rejection.
Thanks to your kindness, a brand-new sanitary facility now stands beside her home.
