Attached is the Raise Sri Lanka December 2025 Newsletter, a heartfelt reflection of lives touched because of your compassion, consistency, and belief in education.

In December, your generosity reached children from low-income families who began the school year with something many of us remember fondly — the smell of a brand-new school book. Fresh pages, new beginning. For these children, that simple moment sparks motivation and hope. For their parents, it brings relief — easing a burden no parent ever wants to carry: the worry of providing basic necessities for their child’s education.

Inside the newsletter, you will find:

• Books provided to 75 students across Madadumbara (Kandy), carefully selected from 29 schools, ensuring each child starts the year with motivation and confidence.

• Another 75 students in Kundasale (Kandy), representing 39 schools and 64 vasams — each set of books tailored to the child’s grade and curriculum.

• 115 students at a rural school in Hambantota, where limited resources make access to learning materials a daily challenge.

• The introduction of our new Board for the 2026–2027 term, continuing our commitment to transparency, service, and impact.

This school book initiative has been carried out every year since 2021, and each year it reminds us of our own school days — and how access to education can shape a lifetime.
