School book donation for 338

There are a lot of children in Sri Lanka who loves to educate themselves but does not have the money and support to continue their education.

This is an effort to make those dreams come true for 338 children of Hunupitiya Primary school!

We want to thank Apeksha Weerasekara and Ruwinda Herath who volunteered and coordinated this event while collecting Rs.330,000 of the funds from their friends and family. Raise Sri Lanka contributed Rs. 605,000 for school books and paper from gheir generous donors. Harshana Lakmal Samaraweera was a strong pillar behind the success of this event as always and we wish to thank all his efforts.

Special thanks all of you donated for this cause. We are just starting off the fundraising campaign for 2024 book donations for 550 children. And we hope you will be part of it and help us reach our goal to support this children with one of their basic needs.
