This attempt is for the kids who are below the poverty line and has family conditions we pray to stay untouched of, to GO BACK TO SCHOOL. 🙂 These kids have missed school for months and months this year already because of the school shutdown and they do not have the facilities for remote learning. 🤨 Do we want to make them skip another term next year in 2021? Can we support with $15 (Rs. 2500) to send a child back to school?? 🙏

Last September, we did a small initiative to help out rural school children of Ratnapura. We couldn’t afford it back then since we had a limited number of members, but that initiative made a difference in our perspective of how we look at this situation. We understood how little of a push it takes to make that big difference in a child’s life and education.

Imagine not having any parents to send you to school in the morning or help you do your homework. 👨‍👩‍👧

Imagine having both parents with medical conditions and elder children having to step in for more responsibility and forego education..

Not having Parents who could not financially afford to buy school books or shoes since there are bigger priorities for the family?🥲

Some kids write multiple subjects in one book, not because they could complain about having to carry extra books to school, but because they cannot afford to have books for all subjects! đź“š

Some kids are light-headed in school because their parents cannot afford breakfast.. 🥛

It’s a lot to take for a child but fate hasn’t been fair to all. 🥀

And to top all those struggles, this year the pandemic has made it impossible for parents or guardians who are trying to provide for a meal for the family to give that extra money for books for children to GO BACK TO SCHOOL next year!

We know It’s harder for everyone, but at the least, we could be thankful for everything we have amid all the chaos. You and I could still manage to pay for our food every day and our children could continue school coz they could remote learn and stay safe at home..

All of our monthly member donations for December will be used for this cause. Thank you members for always being with us to support us every month without fail.🙏.

And we need MORE HELP!! For those others who can help, donate through the
